At Adler’s Nest Frail Care in Hartenbos we care for the patients with empathy and love. Frail patients cannot look after themselves anymore and therefore the care that they get must be such that they feel relaxed and safe.

 

Frail Care is for those who can no longer care for themselves on a daily basis and won't be able to for the rest of their life. Moving into frail care signals the start of a new chapter in one's life, one that is both essential and helpful for older individuals who require more assistance. We make sure that the emotional state of patients are also catered for, as it is very emotional for any person to be totally dependent on other people for even the most basic needs , ie. To be washed or showered.

 

Social interaction with other people is very important and therefore we make sure that our people mingle through card games like Bingo, painting sessions, coloring in of intricate or even very basic exercises, to make sure everyone gets social stimulation
