Situated on the slopes of the Outeniqua Mountain Range, on the outskirts of Mossel Bay, the newly launched Adler’s Nest is the retirement village of your dreams.
We have 57 free-standing homes – two or three bedroomed dwellings, each bedroom en-suite. Each home has a garden, lounge / dining room, kitchen and garage.
But there’s more. Adler’s Nest also has 220 sectional title apartments – bachelors units, one or two bedroomed units, with opened planed kitchen and living areas.
At Adler’s Nest, we focus on the dignity, and empowerment of our residents. We do that, firstly, by offering an amazing range of communal facilities. Our Lifestyle Centre features a library, large screen television room, heated swimming pool, yoga and Pilates gym, hairdresser, optician, pharmacy and neighbourhood superette – all the amenities our guests need, at their doorstep.
- We have a wide range of personal and recreational activities, which include gardening, beach walks, nature hikes, massages, physiotherapy, movie and music evenings.
- For active sports participation, we arrange membership of local golf, tennis and bowls clubs at impressively reduced monthly rates.
- Residents are encouraged to have their own laptop or computer, enabling them to explore the wealth of knowledge, special interests and hobbies, movies and documentaries, which can be accessed via the internet. Utilising Zoom and other digital platforms, they can remain in contact with children, grandchildren and relatives.
Adler’s Nest also has a comprehensively equipped frail care facility, offering full nursing services. In addition, the Mossel Bay / George area proudly offers world class medical, hospital and healthcare amenities.
Our philosophy is – retirement should be a time of empowerment, not decline.
Now for the best news. Adler’s Nest doesn’t operate any life rights schemes. The typical life right scheme offers very little capital appreciation benefit to the scheme’s participants. We do things differently at Adler’s Nest. All our units are separately registered, in the Deeds Office, in the purchaser’s name. The purchaser, or their children, may let or sell the property at any stage, as they see fit, and benefit from whatever profit that generates. From a lifestyle and investment point of view, we’re streets ahead of other retirement facilities.
